Hi, I’m Sendai Mike, I started Sendai Studios in my apartment as a way to help my friends with their songs. My passion project quickly snowballed into opening Sendai Studios in its current form in 2017. Today we have four producers on staff and have become one of the most popular vocal recording studios in the Seattle region with artist traveling from all over the state to work with us.

At Sendai Studios we are focused on small-group collaborations between artist and producer. This is a place for artists who care about their music and want to work with a producer/engineer who cares just as much as they do. We are committed to providing the highest level of service whether you are just starting your musical journey or have decades of experience. To us, this isn’t just about selling studio time; it’s about building a partnership.

Our team of producer-engineers come from backgrounds as both artists and producers, so we truly understand what it means to be on both sides of the studio. This experience allows us to prioritize the artist’s vision above all else. We know what it’s like to create and bring a project to life, and we bring that understanding to every session we facilitate.

Ultimately, our mission is to make your music sound exactly as you imagined it, using any resources necessary—even if that means recommending another service provider. At Sendai Studios, the art always comes first.

Services Offered: 

MIXING & MASTERING: We mix nearly everyone who records here as well as many artists who record at home or elsewhere. We specialize in Indie pop, hip hop, pop and R&B. Songs mixed here have been streamed millions of times across all platforms.

VOCAL RECORDING: We specialize in recording vocalists, singers and rappers. The studio is equipped with a 5’x7’ Whisper Room isolation booth for the cleanest recordings possible. Currently we have a Neumann TLM-103 microphone in the booth. If you are interested in using the booth for voiceover please contact us!
